Meet our full-time staff
In addition to the women who join us on staff each summer, Tapawingo has two full-time staff members who serve the ministry year-round.
Tapawingo Director
Miss Kieran (Mayer) Dollarhide
Miss Kieran is from Atlanta, Georgia, and is overjoyed to return for her 15th summer on the island! Kieran graduated from Messiah University, where she studied Theatre and Youth Ministry. She has been deeply impacted by her years at Tapawingo as a camper, scholarship camper, C.I.T., counselor, and volunteer. She also served a summer on Teen Staff at CAMP-of-the-WOODS as the Assistant Worship Leader.
Kieran has a huge heart for youth ministry and recently finished nearly five years as the Program Director for Perimeter Church’s Junior High Ministry. During her time there, she met her husband, Brian, and they have been married for almost three years. Kieran is passionate about young women knowing the unending love of Christ and finding their identity in the One who created them.
Kieran loves Jesus and has a heart for discipling young women. Kieran is a gifted communicator, and her commitment to teaching God’s Word will be a blessing to campers and staff.
Interim Assistant Director
Miss Julia McGaugh
Miss Julia McGaugh is from Latham, New York, and spent her first summer at Tapawingo in 2022 when she co-led two sessions of the Counselor-in-Training program. She has been living and serving at CAMP-of-the-WOODS for two years, one in the LIFT discipleship program and now with Tapawingo. She graduated from SUNY Geneseo in 2021 with a degree in Communication.
Miss Julia has a heart for discipleship, and her biggest joy during the off-season has been leading Tapawingo Girls’ Fellowship, a weekly youth group for local girls in Speculator. She is overjoyed to spend this summer on the island and eager for the wonderful campers and staff to finally meet in the Adirondacks as they pursue and proclaim Christ together.

Assistant Director
Miss Natalie lovvoll
Miss Natalie Lovvoll is from Reading, Massachusetts. The Lord has used Tapawingo in an incredible way throughout "Miss Nat's" life. At 15, Natalie experienced her first summer as a Tapawingo camper. She loved the Lord's evident presence on the island and was greatly inspired by the faith that she saw in her counselors. That week prompted a decision to wholeheartedly follow Jesus. Natalie began reading her Bible and had a new excitement about following His teachings.
Natalie has been passionate about Tapawingo ever since. She has joyfully served on Tapawingo staff since Summer 2018 and is excited to serve in a full-time capacity as the Assistant Director.
Natalie graduated from Wheaton College (IL) with a degree in Business Economics. In addition to her passion for camp ministry, she loves learning more about design, cooking, and entrepreneurship.
Natalie can’t wait to see how the Lord continues to work at Tapawingo. She has witnessed Him move in mighty ways and is praying for campers and staff as He prepares another wonderful summer on the Island of joy.
Natalie is joyful, intentional, creative, and relationally gifted.
We are grateful to have her here at Tapawingo!
