This was our daughters’ first year at Tapawingo, and they loved it. They keep in touch with their counselors, who are so sweet to respond in the midst of their busy school schedules. I know the lasting impression such attention had on my life, which caused me to pursue Christ, all the more as my mentors pointed me to Him.
I want to express my gratitude for working financially with their friends who received generous scholarships to attend with them. It was a highlight of their year as well, and one they never would have been able to receive without help. I am thankful we can contribute to the scholarship fund because of the Lord's generosity to us, and pray that He will use it to further His kingdom and glorify Himself at Tapawingo.
Scholarship CAmper
I just wanted to say thank you! You were so generous to give me a scholarship this last summer to make my time at Tapawingo possible. I enjoyed banana boating, water skiing, archery, crafts, sailing, running 10 miles, doing the island swim, rock climbing, singing nonstop, and getting to know other Christian girls. I loved being a part of this camp's Christian fellowship and friends.
I learned a lot of things about God and how to grow my faith from the speakers and counselors. The way I saw other people be unafraid to speak of their faith was a big impact on me. It helped me understand that God doesn't just look at the world He made, but he loves us individually and I can always give my problems to Him.
P.S. I hope to come back soon!!

VIRTUAL BONFIRES
We pray that each Virtual Bonfire is a special time when the girls can reconnect and ultimately be spurred on in their walks with the Lord. Each call includes time for catching up, a fun game, a devotion, and a time of praying for and with one another. Past, present, and prospective Tapawingo campers are welcomed to join this volunteer-led time of refreshing fellowship.
